I became inspired while out for my daily walk with my dog, by all of the beautiful wild flowers that seem to be everywhere at this time of the year. They are in abundance in the summer in the fields where I live and along the canals and on the moorland.
So I collected some while I was out walking and brought them back to my shed to see what I could do with them.
I impressed them into the clay and created a beautiful wall plaque.
I picked out the flowers, I could have left them in because they would have burnt off in the firing but I wanted to see what they looked like.
I will then paint this when it comes out of the kiln.
